Build Social Casino Games That People Actually Play
Learning mobile game development doesn't have to feel like guesswork. We teach you how to design, code, and launch social casino experiences using real frameworks that studios actually use in 2025.

See What You'll Build
Here's a slot machine demo created by students in their third month. Click to try it out — this kind of interactive game is what you'll be creating.
What You'll Actually Learn
No fluff. Just practical skills you need to create functional social casino games from scratch.
Game Mechanics Design
You'll map out reel spins, paylines, and bonus rounds. We break down why certain mechanics keep players engaged without relying on luck alone.
Mobile-First Development
Touch interfaces behave differently than desktop clicks. Learn how to handle gestures, screen sizes, and performance constraints on actual devices.
HTML5 Canvas & WebGL
Canvas lets you draw graphics pixel by pixel. WebGL adds hardware acceleration. Both are essential for smooth animations on mobile browsers.
Backend Integration
Your game needs to save player progress and handle rewards. We cover REST APIs, WebSocket connections, and database basics that make games persistent.
Monetization Logic
Social casinos earn through in-app purchases and ad placements. You'll implement virtual currency systems and understand player economy balance.
Publishing Process
Getting your game onto app stores involves certificates, compliance checks, and testing. We walk through the actual submission steps for iOS and Android.

How The Program Works
Our approach is straightforward: learn concepts, build projects, get feedback. Repeat until you have a portfolio worth showing.
Foundation Phase (Months 1-2)
JavaScript fundamentals and game loop architecture. You'll create simple animations and understand how frame rates affect player experience.
Core Development (Months 3-5)
Build your first slot machine with actual spinning reels and win calculations. Then add features like auto-spin and bet adjustments.
Advanced Features (Months 6-8)
Multi-game frameworks, social features like friend invites, and analytics integration. This is where your project becomes portfolio-ready.
Portfolio Launch (Month 9)
Polish your best game, write documentation, and prepare case studies. We help you present your work in a way that makes sense to potential collaborators.
Who's Teaching This
Meet one of our instructors who's been building casino games since mobile browsers could barely handle them.

Rhiannon Keltz
Lead Mobile Game Instructor
Rhiannon spent six years at a studio in Kuala Lumpur working on social casino titles that were downloaded over 2 million times. She's dealt with everything from memory leaks on old Android devices to payment gateway headaches.
What she teaches here comes directly from those experiences — not theory, but actual problems she had to solve while shipping games on tight deadlines. Her students appreciate that she doesn't sugarcoat the messy parts of game development.
Classes start in September 2025, and she'll be leading both the core curriculum and advanced optimization workshops for students who want to dive deeper into performance tuning.
Technology We Focus On
We teach tools that are actively used in production environments right now. These aren't theoretical choices — they're what studios rely on when shipping to millions of players.

Phaser Framework
HTML5 game engine that handles sprite management, physics, and input across devices. Open-source with strong community support.
Node.js Backend
JavaScript runtime for server logic. Perfect for real-time features like leaderboards and social interactions using WebSockets.
Firebase Services
Cloud platform for authentication, database, and analytics. Reduces backend complexity so you can focus on game logic.
Webpack Build Tools
Module bundler that packages your code for production. Essential for optimizing file sizes and managing dependencies.
Next Cohort: September 2025
We're opening enrollment for our 9-month program starting September 15th, 2025. Class size is limited to 24 students so everyone gets meaningful code review and feedback. Applications close July 31st, 2025.
